I have a 2021 MB GLE 350 V167 that I want to swap out all the lubes on. I already put Amsoil into the motor but now I want to do the diffs. I can’t find much information online but the one video I found a guy used Redline 75W 85 and said that was the proper gear fluid. It seems this would be the Amsoil equivalent but when I go onto Amsoil it doesn’t show anything compatible with my Mercedes besides engine oil and antifreeze. Would you know if this would be compatible.

Funny thing about the parking break, whenever I picked up my GR86 or my old Camry at the dealership from service the parking break was never engaged. Goes to show the type of mechanics working on Toyota dealerships around my area.

The infotainment system in the 23 Corolla is trash. Changing the station on the XM radio can cause an accident. You have to scroll instead of having a simple knob like you do on other models

I have trained myself to get in the car, put on my seatbelt and turn off the start/stop function. I hated a lot about the NX350 F but thought the infotainment was very good, though complex. The electronic doors were not too awful. Brakes were excellent. I hated that the car was noisy, slowwww off the line, cramped, and no fun to drive. So i dumped it.

Thank you for your channel. 2004 Avalon... runs like the first day when brand new. I bring up something not discussed in the literature. Lubrication under the car of the seals and bushings. Years ago, the word was out, cars do not need lubrication. Really? I have the seals and bushings lubricated at every oil change with AT205. You might consider telling people what happens when seals and bushings are allowed to dry out and crack. I don't have a lift. Nor do I have a second car or another driver. The nearest parts shop is about an hour round trip walking. And, the car is 20 years old. Under those conditions, I have to use my independent mechainc who has limited lifts. My mechanic appreciates that I understand his business from his perspective: 1. provide him with two copies of instructions, 2. provide anticipated parts and any special lubricants so that the lifts are not tied up. 3. willing to reschedule an appointment if the shop is tied up. Just because the car is in the shop, I am not asleep. I look to see if a tail or brake light is out. I look at the tires to make sure there are no nails.

Stupid question. But if I don't want to loose warranty, then I need to use authorized car service. And in authorized service original oil is twice more expensive. So it would be pretty pricey to do that every 5000 miles

So let me get this right, do you put the car in park with the foot on the brakes then apply the parking break, or its foot on the brakes put the car in neutral, apply the parking brake THEN put the car in park? I saw a video recently that said you should do the latter? Btw I had to laugh when my wife’s new RAV4 had a sport shifter… absolutely no purpose.

Pine Hollow Auto Diagnostics has a video of a Ford that the cable got messed up from the shift motor to the transmission. It gave no clues at all other than it just wouldn't leave park. No fault codes.

I'm not happy with Toyota choice in tail light break lights not illuminated the entire light fixture on the SE hybrid. Only the xse entire tail light lights ul. They got cheep with the one bulb but everything else is fantastic.

So you keep referring as to why Toyota went with BMW for the Supra. I can tell you why. Performance. BMW is king at it. Toyota simply does not know how to make a car with enough competing performance, to reintroduce the Supra. They had to go with BMW to make sales. Now, for the rest of the vehicle, such as door panels, body panels, interior, etc., this is where Toyota screwed up. Toyota is known well for their good design. They could have designed the car to be their own instead of it using so many BMW parts for their body and interior. Are Toyota interiors great? No. But I’m sure they could have at least made their flagship sports car, the Supra, to be made of better materials than all of their other vehicles, and not used a straight up BMW interior.

You don't hear much about all 3 years of 1st generation Toyota Tundra Ivan Stewart Signature Edition. What's your humble opinion on the transmission? 01' only 209k miles. I had to replace transmission and got stranded again on used from wrecking yard.

For cylinder deactivation, many Honda owners such as me have installed "VCM muzzlers" to disable it in hopes of decreasing reliability problems related to it.

Toyota this year has finally lost me with their prices. They are significantly more expensive than Ford and I'm not so sure what the new turbos and electronics that they're any more reliable.

most problem with BMWs are plastics crap in the engine bay like injectors, hoses everything cracks.. BUT wait till you work on a Mercedes that got optic cable snapped somewhere or Audi engine that needs to be completely stripped down for one tiny plastic part a put back up with 3k euro price tag .. that's how these german cars are , I mean all new cars are , but new and german .. money will go woosh

I don't like hill start assist, start/stop system, automatic transmission, and this centralized ipad--style infotainment system. I am okay with the regular buttons and knobs. I don't have to look away to operate them.

The fun transmissions with electronic shifters are the ones that you have to get under the car (sometimes a sports car very low to the ground) to pull a lever on the actual transmission to get it in to neutral. So u would have to jack the car up and crawl under it to get it in neutral. That is really really dumb
